This virtual museum is meant to showcase the evolution of television in Singapore through the eyes of the child actors over the years. Our philosophy is that these people have a unique and relatively unexplored perspective that deserves to be brought to the attention of the public.

In doing so we want to celebrate child actors in Singapore since the introduction of television to this island. Some names will be familiar while others may be encountered for the first time. Nonetheless, every person has played a part in forging the history of television in Singapore and deserves our recognition.

The perspectives that we have collected and presented here will hopefully spur readers to reconsider the roles played by child actors both on and off the screen. This introspection may then lead the way to creating an environment in which child actors can continue to flourish while minimizing the negative effects of the demand of the job and being in the limelight.
